What a day we had today. We all went to Kensignton Metro Park to the farm center & then to the Nature Center. I had Never actually gone to the nature center, it was pretty neat. As you were walking down the path to the center, there were chipmunks everywhere. Lauren & Ryan had a ball chasing them. There were also turtles, fish, snakes, bees, & frogs to look at in the center. After that, we headed to Mill Pond in Brighton to feed the ducks & have ice cream at Yum Yum Tree. After we got home, Grandma & Grandpa came over to wish Lauren good luck on her first day of school. Grandma also gave Lauren a special ring that Grandpa had given her many years ago. It is also a special ring that Lauren always played with over at Grandma's house. Well, today is Lauren's first day of school, I hope I don't cry, but I'm sure I will.
