Money from Heaven

My friend Melissa's sister, Trish (age 26), passed away December 28th, 2006 after a long fight with a pulmonary disease. For Christmas last year, Trish & Melissa bought their mom (Mary) & step-dad (Joe) a ticket for a New Year's Eve gala @ Crystal Garden's in Howell. After Trish passed, Mary & Joe were for obvious reasons not up to attending the event. Melissa was able to get their money back & decided to purchase a ticket for Brighton's Moola Ball, previously called Cars, Cash, & Casino, which we have attended for the last three years. It is a fundrasing event the Brighton Chamber of Commerce holds with dinner, dancing, gambling, & best of all, cash prizes. This year there were three top prizes, 1st place ($20,000), 2nd (10,000), & 3rd ($5,000). The event sells 1000 tickets (I believe) & if possible you are able to pick a certain number if you choose. Melissa choose ticket # 0380 because Trish was born in March of 1980. Mary and Joe won $20,000! I'm not a very religious person, but this lets me know that God sure can work in mysterious ways. You see, Trish also left behind some bills & Melissa believed that Trish would find a way to pay her mother back, even from Heaven. I still get goosebumps thinking about it!
