First day of Interning

Well, today was my first day of my intern. I had to attend an orientation today and am now officially part of the behavioral health team @ Head Start in Gennesse County. I got to meet my co-intern who is another student at U of M - Flint. I have been told that it is nice to have a co-intern so there is someone who is going thru the same process of preparing for graduation and interning at the same time. It's nice to know that you are not the only one there at the bottom of the barrell so to speak. I am really excited to start and all of the people that I have met thus far have been really nice & welcoming!

On a totally different note, I heard my first owl tonight. At least I am pretty sure it was an owl. Jeff & I saw an owl driving home from a party off of Clyde Road last spring & now I have finally heard one not in captivity. It was kinda cool. He (or she) went on for a good 10 ~ 15 minutes. I can't hear him anymore, but it was pretty cool.

RYAN MICHAEL

I went to Ryan's daycare orientation tonight. I almost starting crying. I can't believe my baby is going to be four in October and is going to be in daycare/preschool for 16 + hours a week. I know that he will be fine and will have a lot of fun playing with new friends his own age. I guess it is all just hitting me that my title of stay @ home mom is no longer going to exist. I just hope that I made the right decision to go back to work. I feel that I did. I also can't believe that Lauren is going into 1st grade. That is another wake up call. My other baby is going to be away from me all day now. Gosh, where did the last 6 1/2 years go?????????
