Flying a Kite

This is my family, the ones I laugh with, live for, and most of all LOVE. Jeff is my husband of 7 years, although I have known him for almost 20 years. My two beautiful children are Lauren (5) and Ryan (2). I am starting this blog to find the inner strength that I have lost due to being a wife, mother, and student all at one time. I love each and every one of these titles with all of my heart, but to carry all of them at once can be a bit heavy at times. I had a very hard semester and due to the extreme amount of studying that it entailed, not only did my husband and children suffer, but my own inner peace suffered as well. If I can't find the time to truely take care of myself, how am I going to find the time to truely take care of my children. Of course, I meet my children basic needs, but am I meeting their emotional needs? I am hoping that this blog will help me re-connect with not only myself, but also my children, and most of all my husband. I also hope to find the enourmous amount of inner strength that I once had because I feel completely and hopelessly lost right now.
