Blue Ribbon

I just spent a little time researching child abuse for the training I am going to start next month. I came across this video & just cried. Child abuse is another aspect of social work that I have always wanted to be a part of it. I keep leaning toward other areas because I am afraid I will get to attached to all the children. I also thought of other areas when I heard of a story many years ago about a social worker who was murdered removing a child from their home. My heart keeps leading me back to child abuse though. Every child deserves a chance to a bright and hopeful future and for as along as I can remember I have wanted to help speak for those children. April is child abuse awareness month, show your BLUE ribbons!
