My New IPod

Well, it's official, I am now an IPod junkie. With my determination to exercise, I have found strength in Jeff's IPod. Since he was only leaving it home because of the extreme cold weather we have been having, I decided I needed one as well. My mom was going to get me an all day spa package for Christmas & was just waiting for me to pick out which one I wanted. I figured instead I would get an IPod because if this exercising thing is going to make me feel as good as everyone tells me it will it will be well worth giving up the spa package. I only got the little 2 g nano since Jeff has the big 30 g one. Jeff was not sure how we would run them both of the same computer, but he figured it out. Go Jeff, what would I do without you?????????????????? I was determined to finish my homework, well at least a good chunk of it, so I could get some songs loaded on my new toy. I'm so excited, like a little kid in a toy store!!

I finished my homework project due Monday, & now have to finish 3 chapters & study for my test on Monday. The good thing is though that I have a 3 1/2 break between classes on Monday & can also study then. Especially now that I can take my IPod & listen to Jeffrey Michael while I study. I like listening to instrumental music when I study. It helps me to concentrate & it also blocks out the noise around me.

We had a pretty good day today. Jeff & I took the kids to their ice skating class, even though they are both officially back on antibiotics as of yesterday. Lauren has an ear infection & Ryan has a sinus infection. Thank god for Meijer & their FREE antibiotics!!! After ice skating, we went to Yum Yum Tree for lunch then walked around downtown Brighton for the Ice & Chili Festival. That was so not what we expected. The sculptures were basically signs of all the establishments in Brighton. We thought they would be animals & such. BIG DISSAPOINTMENT! The kids enjoyed it though, & I guess that is what matters most sometimes, right?
